About Me
In late 2016, I was STRESSED OUT.
On the one hand, I was worrying about my upcoming wedding day, and particularly about organising a photographer. What could we afford? Was the cost of a fully professional photographer going to be worth it?
At the same time, I was feeling the pressure of preparing for my very first wedding as a professional photographer. Could I deliver what the couple were expecting? Would they be disappointed they hired me?
I needn't have worried.
My first professional wedding was an absolute blast, and confirmed for me that this is what I want to do with my life. And the photos from that day kickstarted my career, leading to dozens of bookings over the next couple of years, and starting an ongoing relationship with one of my favourite Wellington wedding venues, Boomrock.

A week later, my own wedding day came together perfectly. Thanks mostly to my wife's hard work planning everything, we got to relax and enjoy an incredible celebration with friends and family.
Since then, we've often looked back at the memories from that day. Our oldest boy has also taken great interest in seeing our wedding album too - we will never regret making sure we had memories captured to pass on to the next generation.
Until my own wedding, I knew I quite enjoyed taking photos and wanted it to be my career.
But it was that day and every day that followed which has confirmed WHY I want to do this.
That's why I specialise in wedding photography
That's why I focus on authentic photography for couples who care about real moments
